ONE tell tale sign of aging is pigmented lesions or age spots on the face, neck and body. With the use of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), these age spots are lessened or completely resolved. While Radiesse will increase volume, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) will address the visible skin. Together these treatments will provide more youthful looking skin.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a patented fluorescent pulsed-light technology that effectively treats facial redness, flushing, and brown spots or pigment problems on your face, neck, and chest. By carefully delivering a series of gentle light pulses to the skin, IPL treatments restore a more youthful appearance with no downtime, little discomfort, and minimal risk.

How can I prevent more age spots from appearing?
Generally, a healthier lifestyle which indicates a good diet and regular exercise can be helpful. A no smoking policy should also be enforced to ensure more youthful skin. But the number one anti-aging tip is to be sure to use a good quality sunscreen on your skin every day. Often times people think that sunscreen is not necessary in the winter; it should be noted that sun exposure to the skin at any time will cause aging. We offer many different types of mineral based SPF available in our office. Check out one of our favorite skin care lines for SPF! Mineral based SPF
