An internationally-renowned facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Michael Sullivan has been ranked by his peers as one of “The Best Doctors in America” by Woodward and White, Inc. for more than 20 years. He has also been named one of Columbus Monthly’s Top Doctors. Passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise, he is frequently featured as a medical authority for local and national news organizations.
A gifted practitioner and educator, Dr. Sullivan leverages his years of experience and understanding of the complexities of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to inform the practice’s many new and innovative surgical and non-invasive treatments and to provide extensive education and training to the Sullivan Centre’s staff. He authored “When Your Nose Doesn’t Fit: Everything You Need to Know about Rhinoplasty,” a consumer guide to rhinoplasty.
A sought-after speaker, Dr. Sullivan has addressed medical groups around the country and has performed surgery as well as educated plastic surgeons throughout the world. He has won several prestigious awards from the Facial Plastic Surgery Academy for his dedication to education and has authored numerous textbook chapters and scientific articles. The former director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University, Dr. Sullivan is a clinical associate professor and instructs residents in training.
In 2019 Dr. Michael Sullivan retired. He has entrusted his patients to Dr. Stephen Nogan whom he had mentored for many years. Dr. Nogan shares the same facial plastic surgery philosophy with Dr. Sullivan which is to provide patients with the best education on the various options that may address their concerns.
