After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed like having a sunburn. You will experience skin tightness and sensitivity to touch which will diminish over the first 24 hours. The following is typical of a treatment:

  • Day 1: Very red
  • Day 2: Bright Pink- can be covered by mineral make-up
  • Day 3: Pink – can be covered by mineral make-up
  • Day 4: Flushed- can be covered by mineral make-up

You may also experience some amount of peeling and flaking. Most side effects resolve in 4-5 days.
