About Elisabeth Nogan, MD

Dr. Nogan graduated from Penn State College of Medicine and completed her residency in family medicine at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center- St. Margaret.  Prior to joining CFP, she had a busy clinical practice in the Family and Community Medicine Department at The Ohio State University, where she also taught medical students and residents.

Dr. Nogan has always had an interest in prevention and the impact of lifestyle changes on health.  As a resident, she started a program called “ABLE2- A Better Life through Exercise and Eating” and while in clinical practice, she served as the medical director of The Ohio State Health and Fitness Center New Albany, where she helped launch the Exercise is Medicine (EIM) program at OSU.

Her passion is helping busy adults and families adopt sustainable, evidence-based nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management and social connection habits.  This is “Lifestyle Medicine”, and it can help maximize health, prevent disease, and treat the underlying causes of many chronic illnesses.  Dr. Nogan believes that healthy lifestyle changes can truly transform the way we live and should be the cornerstone of good healthcare. She aims to provide the time, support, compassion, and individualized care to help people reach their goals and live full, healthy lives.
