I’m Dr. Michael Sullivan and I understand the latest craze across the pond over in England is Kate Middleton’s nose. And that trend seems to have crossed the Atlantic over here to the United States.

Patients are now interested in having Kate Middleton’s nose. It’s not uncommon that patients would look at celebrities and find examples of noses that they find attractive.

In fact I will encourage my patients to look through magazines and look for noses that they find attractive. Because I’d like to get an idea of what their aesthetic sense is. Not that I can give that particular patient either Jennifer Aniston’s nose or Ashley Simpson’s nose. But I want to create a nose that fits with their face. And the point is with Kate Middleton is that nose looks very attractive on her. She’s a very attractive woman.

People like the slope of her nose. The fact that her tip turns up a little bit. And for her that works. It doesn’t mean it works for everyone. So it’s important when you talk to a rhinoplasty surgeon to discuss features that would fit best with their face.
