Every business has its mission statement—you can find our mission statement on our home page. We’ve built our practice around five core values, each of which we have carried with us since founding The Sullivan Centre in 1996. Let us share them with you.
1. We’re a husband-and-wife team
We started Sullivan Centre as a team, and we brought our shared devotion to patient care with us into the business. We treat our patients and employees like family, and we welcome you to our practice in the same manner.
Drs. Michael and Christine Sullivan, Columbus plastic surgeons, both share a deep passion for patient welfare, satisfaction, and happiness. At Sullivan Centre, you’ll find compassionate care before, during, and after your procedure. You’ll enjoy the security and continuity of familiar faces when you spend time in our office. In short, you’ll find a unique, comforting experience.
2. Specialized areas of treatment
Board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Michael Sullivan specializes in head and neck surgery and in injectables. Dr. Christine Sullivan is board certified in Plastic Surgery; she only performs procedures on the breast and body.
This specialization means each of our surgeons have more experience and expertise in the Columbus plastic surgery procedures they offer. When both facial and body procedures are desired, the doctors can work together in the operating room to perform simultaneous procedures, enabling patients to save on costs and overall recovery time.
3. Safety
At Sullivan Centre, we put safety first. We care about our patients and do everything to ensure your safety and well-being. You’ll experience this from your very first visit through to your post-operative care. Our Centre boasts an ambulatory surgical center that has been licensed by the State of Ohio and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). We only use board certified anesthesiologists for all our operations. In addition to maintaining an operating facility that is as safe as a hospital, we have lower infection rates than hospitals (.002%, significantly lower than the national average).
4. Privacy
Sullivan Centre was the first free-standing ambulatory surgical center dedicated to cosmetic surgery in central Ohio. Drs. Christine and Michael Sullivan wanted to offer their patients the privacy, safety, and convenience they deserved. At a hospital, you are one of hundreds of patients. At Sullivan Centre, we provide more individualized care and protect your privacy every step of the way.
5. Every service in one place
Unlike other practices, Sullivan Centre is large enough (with 6,000 square feet) to house all our services under one roof—from topical skin care to cosmetic surgery, to BOTOX® injections. With two physicians and a team of qualified professionals, you can be sure to get the specific treatments you need. In fact, everyone must first meet with one of our doctors before receiving treatment. This strategy ensures that you receive expert advice and the right treatment.
